Dieser Teil von ISO 965 legt ein Toleranzsystem für Metrische ISO-Gewinde allgemeiner Anwendung (M) nach ISO 261 fest. Das Toleranzsystem bezieht sich auf das Grundprofil nach ISO 68-1. Dieser Teil von ISO 965 legt Grenzmasse für Flanken-, Aussen- und Kerndurchmesser für Metrische ISO-Gewinde allgemeiner Anwendung (M) nach ISO 262 mit einem Grundprofil nach ISO 68-1 fest. Die Grenzmasse für die festgelegten Toleranzklassen sind von den in ISO 965-1 festgelegten Grenzabmassen und Toleranzen abgeleitet.
