A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

Specifies the technical delivery conditions for steel pipes (casing, tubing for wells), connectors, couplings and thread protectors. Theading requirements are not considered. Dimensional requirements on threads are given in ISO 10422. Replaces ISO 2645:1975.
