A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

Gives the methods for spot radiography of ferrous butt welds, with a joint efficiency factor of not more than 85%, or welded butt joints in ferrous materials where the design unit stress factor does not exceed 85% of the permitable unit stress of the base metal. Also gives recommendations for acceptance criteria for the assessment of the welded butt joints.
