This Standard sets out the requirements for the safe keeping of chemicals in packages (see Clause 1.4.20) in laboratories-(a) when in use inside a laboratory compartment;(b) stored, when not in use, inside a laboratory compartment;(c) stored in dedicated storerooms or spaces which are support areas to the laboratory; and(d) when opening packages.
