History

States the minimum requirements for Radiotelex equipment for use on board ships. Requirements include the relevant provisions of the Radio Regulations and standards of performance for shipborne MF/HF radio installations for Narrow Band Direct Printing (NBDP) equipment operating in the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS), and of the Res. A 613 and Res. A 569 performance standards as adopted by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
