Im vorliegenden Teil 4 sind für metallische Rohrleitungen, wie sie im Teil 1 definiert sind, die Anforderungen an die Herstellung und Verlegung festgelegt. Besonders detailliert sind die Anforderungen an die einzelnen Umformverfahren sowie die Bedingungen für den Zusammenbau beschrieben. Hinweise auf die Ausführung von Schweissverbindungen und die Qualifikation des Schweisspersonals sind enthalten. Die CEN-Correction Notice EN 13480:2002, Version 06 (2006-03) ist enthalten.
