Separate specifications for crude and semi-refined oils. Colour, relative density, refractive index, iodine value, saponification value, unsaponifiable matter, acidity, polybromides and size of sample. Polybromide test appended. For methods of sampling and for other tests see BS 627 and BS 684 respectively.
