AS ISO 19014.2 specifies general principles for software development and signal transmission requirements of safety-related parts of machine-control systems in earth-moving machinery (EMM) and its equipment. It addresses significant hazards related to software embedded within the machine control system and incorrect machine control system output responses from inputs. This relates to EMM manufactured from the date of this publication. Cyber security is out of the scope of this document.
